Name: Elijah Clash
Nicknames: Eli, Jenny Seder
Age: 23
Height: 6'0
Weight: 140
Species: Human
Ethnicity: British, speaks with a very slight accent
Occupation: Journalist
Physical
Eli is a clean-cut young man with a fox like face and long, sharp facial features. Leaning on the taller side, he's got a slender build but nice body tone, showing his keen interests in his health. He will not eat or drink anything that doesn't have a positive effect on his body (at least in his 'real' life), and he's especially choosey about alcohol. It's rare to see him drink anything other then red wine (moderately) and water.
The writer likes to look presentable and is hardly ever seen without a suit (shirt opened, tie hung around his shoulders- he'll still be wearing it), even while he's lounging. Colleagues sometimes joke that he sleeps in a coat and tie.
His hair is short, black and naturally unruly, which he uses to his advantage and spikes it neatly. Eyes are bright blue.
Regardless of his excellent health, internally Elijah isn't that great. He quietly endures *Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a rare heart disease inherited from his mother. He avoids caffeine and stimulants if he can, but may be seen taking a swag of a cigarette or small cup of coffee in the ‘normal’ office to throw off all suspicion. The stress and excitement of his double life doesn’t help either, and if he’s not murdered then the disease will probably kill him by age 30.
Personality
At work, he's knowing for being very jittery, nervous and stupidly obedient to supervisors. He writes 'safe' articles so he won't anger superiors or get himself in trouble.
This is a smokescreen.
The real Elijah is an acceptably happy fellow, always grinning and well known for being the life of the party. He doesn't need to hide this part about himself because no one knows him outside the work place, so the writer has absolutely no reason to worry. Who would ask a stuttering, twitchy kid for a night on the town? In contrast to his false personality, Eli talks very fast and very smoothly, quickly throwing out phrases and allusions to amuse and bewilder his audience. While he does indeed move around at lot, he's not fidgety and has very flawless movements. His trademark is twirling a pen between his fingers. Keep in mind, while he's hard to hate because of his upbeat and generally fun person, he's an opportunist and one hell of a good reporter. Eli is incredibly slippery.
--
He's the secret chief editor and writer for an underground paper called ‘The 4th Station’. Under the name '*Jenny Reder', which his entire staff goes by, he prints articles that are otherwise filtered out and require serious deep digging. He takes free speech to a new level, viciously attacking false and sugarcoated information. The paper is not as well appreciated among the government as it is with civilians, obviously, so Eli keeps his and his staff's identities well hidden. The paper will also print stories to sway public opinion one way or another... if the cause inspires Eli enough. Or if they pay enough.

1. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM): rare heart disease found in .2% - .5% of the general population. Causes the myocardium to thicken without explanation, making the heart demand more oxygen then normal. May also disrupt electrical fuctions. Usually ends in sudden cardiac arrest
2. Jenny: Eli uses a female name to throw off suspicion of a male writer. Women often use male pen names, but it's not typically the other way around
