Full name: Samuel Jay Walker
Nickname: Walker
Gender:Male
Species :Human
Age: 31
Height: 5'7"
Weight : 137lbs
Physical Description:
Samuel is the typical cowboy, hardy, and rough around the edges. He spends most of his time in the saddle and on the run and it shows. The clothing he wears is faded, a loose cotton shirt, brown suede pants, and a dark leather overcoat, one that's usually covered in a layer of dirt and dust. His cowboy hat is in the classic style and black, including the band that circles the bowl of the hat. He isn't the tallest guy around and he isn't the shortest. Somewhere in between and average.
His eyes are a dark brown, almost black and that's where the rumor comes from -- they say he has some Cherokee blood in him donated somewhere down the line. His skin is Caucasian but tan, sometimes with a hint of red from spending too much time in the hot sun. That's what he looks like, worn, jaded, older than he actually is. His face is slim and structured in sharp features and so is the rest of him. Slim doesn't mean skinny, though, the guy has some meat to him and his build is strong. He's just naturally lanky.
As for his hair, it's dirty blonde and is kept short. Stubble lines his jaws and it seems ever-present because sometimes, most of the time, Samuel doesn't have the chance to shave. His left hand is missing half its ring finger, cut off at the second knuckle. He lost it in a gun fight where a bullet had not only knocked the gun from his hand, but part of his finger along with it.
The whole man seems weather worn and wrinkles around his mouth and at the corner of his eyes accentuate the fact he's led a rough, eventful life.
Personality:
He's an outlaw, a crook. Samuel's a grade-a con artist and is interested in saving his own skin. It's not like him to go out of his way to help anyone, even those he's partnered up with to pull off a heist. In fact, Samuel's killed a number of his would-be partners in order to take all the profits for himself. His logic is to shoot first before they have the chance to shoot him. In the past, when he was young and new to the game, he'd nearly been killed by another cowboy after they'd robbed a stagecoach. By some miracle, Samuel escaped with his life and the money, leaving the other man dead and rotting on the ground. Since then he's taken the initiative. Double-cross before you're double-crossed.
He's generally calm, even in the most hellish of scenarios. He's learned through trial by fire to keep a cool head under stress. The man's sharp as a whip, too, able to outwit the law and escape by any means necessary. He keeps his ear to the ground, listening for any information about a possible heist and does his best to act on something before other brigands have the chance. He hasn't won many friends, but the ones he does have, if they still draw breath, are just like him. You can't trust them but you respect them and you'd rather have them with you than against you.
He's not a sweet talker, nor is he rude. Samuel takes a factual approach to life and to conversation. He isn't one for small talk and hates to be wasting his time. He's also not one to beat around the bush or sugarcoats things. If you're being an idiot, he'll tell you. He's critical and often times it comes out harsh. He keeps busy and he keeps aware. If there's a fight he know he can't win, Samuel will run. It ain't cowardice, he says, it's intelligence.
Strangely enough, he's a cowboy who doesn't indulge in vices other than smoking. No gambling. No drinking. Once wastes hard earned money, the other can kill a man by robbing him of any semblance of intelligence.
History: WILL WRITE (WIP)
Horse:
A cowboy is only as good as his horse and Samuel was sure to pick (steal) one that was just as tough and rugged as him. It's a mustang born from wild stock. The stallion is sure-footed and spirited. Smart, too, and Samuel asserts his belief that the wild ones are smarter than the ones bred from long-domesticated stock.
The mustang is paint colored with brown and white patches. His eyes are black, like any normal horse's. Samuel named him Trick.
