OK, these are two sites I run and I am of course the admin of.
Drache Hounds is a little RP site where you can RP: a breed of Drache(my creation), a veulen(Celeste's creation), an Xena(Pika's creation), a werewolf, a horse, wolf, coyote, hellhound, and many other species but unless they are listed they would need mod approval. But you can suggest a species and it can have it's own data, and it will be easier to creat one without approval.
We still need a few more mods, and of course many members. But because of the species diversity it's quite fun.
Alley Dogs.Net is another pretty fun site. We have a few members and you can RP a dog of any species, a cat, even a wolf dog mix. I am a little stricter on this site, but I only allow dogs, cats and wolf/dog mixes. I don't allow wolves, hellhounds, or anything of the sort. It's very realistic and follows real dog and cat height and weight standards, though you can go crazy with the colors.
