[Fluffy]

A cool breeze ruffled Cal's fur, he looked towards the sky, the sun quickly rising overhead. He sighed, feeling alone...too much alone. With another quick exhale Calyxte walked over to a lone bench, placed near a trash with a smoke tray atop of it. His nose wrinkled at the foul smell of second hand smoke.

Stretching out over the cold wooden surface of the bench Caly allowed his eyes to batter shut, almost drifting off, but not letting his guard down. He yawned and rolled over, it'd been a few nights scince he last slept, probably because not many welcomed him on their land in the feral areas.

Cal glanced over at a group of homeless people and winced. What a horrible life... he thought, walking over and putting some spare change in one of their cans then returning to sit on the bench, finally coming to his senses and realizing someone else, not being the homeless group, wasn't too far away.

[Cody]

A young man walked slowly, brown paper bags in his arms as his pale blue eyes scanned the area. Something seemed... Off today, as if something that shouldn't be here was. Giving a disgruntled grunt, the shifter hitched his groceries in his arms and paused for a moment to take a look out into the park.

When it got dark, that place was always something to avoid. People and lone pets called it home and being that as it was, made the shifter bypass it at all costs. Cody had been through there one to many times trying to escape the pleas and clutches of the homeless as well as the occasional dog that followed him home. It was only because he had a faint smell of canine and it was due to his bloodline.

Picking up his pace once more, eyes now trained ahead the pup clutched harder onto his bags and shivered. Something definitely wasn't right and being him as he was, Cody always taught himself to trust his instincts. So setting down his heavy brown bags in the a hidden corner the curious shifter ventured into the park only to stumble upon a large furry creature sprawled out along a bench. Quickly hiding behind a tree, Cody waited.

[Fluffy]

Calyxte sat up sensing that whoever else was a lot closer...he turned in every direction, looking for the company. Walking over to tree after tree and peering behind it into the long shadows that could easily hide a frightened human or pet. Sighing with defeat he walked over to only about the millionth unchecked tree and to his surprise a young male was hidden in the shadow.

"Er...hi...my name's Calyxte," he stuttered an introduction.

Cal backed away a little, so that the other could see he was just an anthromorphic wolf. He regained his easygoing smile, "So what's your name?" he questioned the other. Odd, he thought, this guy smells kind of like...a canine. Cal placed his hands in the pockets of his tight jeans, he wanted to ask about WHY this boy smelt somewhat like a dog, but considered it kind of rude. "What brings you out here...so early," he said to fight back asking the real question on his mind.

Setmi sprawled on his tree limb, observing those who passed through the park with narrow eyes. It was one of his favorite past times, staking out this park from the cover of the tree. It allowed him to study and watch people without them reacting to his ghastly appearance.

Ah! Someone approached, and Setmi sat up slightly, legs slung on either side of the branch and hands supporting him as he leaned to look through the foliage. Nostrils flaring, his sunken eyes widened at the scent of canine coming from the man who had stumbled across the anthro wolf on the bench below - the anthro Setmi had watched since he had entered the park.

Could this new man be like him, a lycanthrope? Setmi's heart fluttered at the thought, and he tipped sideways, allowing his legs to keep the grip on the branch as he himself hung upside down. His face was directly beside the human that smelled like canine, and he sniffed the blonds hair, lip curling at the intermingling scents that were there.

Curious indeed.

He dropped down and raised his hands to show the men he was unarmed before putting his spidery hands into his large coat pockets, his left playing with his sunglasses, which he always carried with him.

"It's dangerous to go out alone, especially around this time. Only thugs and rapists are awake now." Setmi said, grinning widely, eyes glancing at either of the two. "I happen to be one of those nocturnal types, so I don't fall into either category, unless you like it that way or course."

He winked at the two men, running his long tongue across his bottom lip.

Cal came around the tree completely to lay eyes on the other man that had seemed to co me from the tree that Cody was hiding behind. He found it hard to smile with what the third male said about rapists and thugs, it was probably true, Calyxte wasn't familiar with these parts.

Cal opened his mouth as though he was going to speak but honestly had nothing to say, the man had probably heard everything-how long had he been there anyways? Caly felt a hollow feeling in his stomach, was this guy watching him the whole time?

The man winked and Caly blushed, though you couldn't tell beneath his thick redish brown fur. He hid his paws in the pocket of his hoodie, pulling on a loose string in the pocket nervously. Both of these guys smelt like canines. What were they? Were-Canines?

He yawned idly walking over to lean against the trunk of the tree, though he really wanted to collapse in a tired heap on the soft ground. That probably wasn't the thing to do in anthro form though...

[Cody]

The shifters eyes narrowed slightly, listening intently to the shuffling of the grass underneath the others feet. He was trying to pinpoint the location of the wolven man before his head suddenly appeared infront of his face, drawing out a startled breath from the 18 year old.

But he felt no teeth clam down around him, nor felt the pain from claws scraping against his skin. Instead Cody only heard a mumbled introduction and blinked awkwardly at the other before letting a smile come across his face playfully. "Hey there! I'm Cody." Beaming slightly he held out his hand, acting like seeing an anthrowolf was an every day occurrence, when it fact is as rare for even him.

Suddenly the sniffing of his hair and the sudden presence above him made Cody jump and stumble, falling to the ground landing on his back before pushing himself up on his elbows. With his body stiffening and the hair on the back of his neck rising, pale blue eyes watched silently as the unknown man dropped from the tree and held up his hands. Snorting softly, the shifter turned his head to the side and rolled his orbs at the wink.

Then with a grumble he rose back up onto his feet, brushing off his pants quickly. "If I ever feel like getting raped I'll let you know. But right now, that's definitely a no go." Cody snarled to the other man, looking at him harshly before glancing over to the half wolf guy. "You alright? You don't look so good, Caly..." He asked concernedly, looking at him softly.

Setmi laughed at the other mans response to his come-on. "Well, if you change your mind, do be sure to let me know." He said in a sultry voice. He then turned to the anthro wolf, keeping himself comfortably between the two men so that he might keep an eye on either of them.

"I agree with this young lad Caly," Setmi said, leaning in towards the anthro, squinting against the rising sun. "You look as though you could use some bed rest."

A headache threatening behind his eyes, Setmi pulled out his wrap around reflective sunglasses and put them on. There, much better. His eyes were very sensitive to light; there was a reason he was largely nocturnal.

[Fluffy]

The younger male stated that his name was Cody and extended a hand. Calyxte shook Cody's hand, smiling back at him. Then the two others exchanged words, but both mentioned Cal looked like he could use a nap. "Yeah I...I'm fine," Calyxte answered their concerns. He could sleep during the day.

One of the men covered his eyes with sunglasses. Calyxte guessed that being an albino, the man's eyes didn't agree with the light. Caly removed his hands from his pockets, a small mint now held captive by his paw which he gingerly placed in his mouth.

Then he set to putting a name to the canine scents of the two males. The younger one smelt kind of like a Dalmatian or a rawtweiller(sp?)...and the other a...a jackal? Interesting. He hadn't seen many Jackals in his life as a wanderer.

"So how's life?" Cal asked, not really caring if he got an answer, he was just trying to make conversation.

[Cody]

Cody's nose was practically useless in this form, but it still gave him a slightly higher smell ability then normal humans and with this one to his left side already being in a half wolf form, there was the other who he could not place. This shifter had never seen nor smelt a jackal before so the scent was completely lost to him.

With a cross of his arms, Cody fell lightly against the tree, bending one leg so the sole of his shoe was pressed flat against the bark along with his back. He tilted his head as well, looking up into the tree before parting his like. "You never told us your name. I'm sure you heard ours, so would you like to introduce yourself?" During his words Cody's eyes would flicker over to the other human and lightly stare at him. Before glancing off to the side to look at the Caly.

"If you say you're alright I'm not going to push it..." The shifter gave him a soft lopsided smile before sighing softly and looking out back up into the trees. If nothing was going to happen soon he might as well just continue heading home and pick up his hidden groceries. Hopefully no one had found them.

Setmi simultaneously bobbed his head and shrugged his shoulders, a sort of gaelic gesture that could mean anything. He shot a grin at Cody, catching the young man staring and tipping him a heavy wink. "The name's Setmi. Remember it as I'm sure you'll be screaming it later."

He cocked an eyebrow gallantly before turning to Caly, concern furrowing his brow. The anthromorphic wolf looked barely able to stand on his two feet... er, paws. Setmi took a step closer, his prosthetic leg making no sound on the grass. "Life is grand, though when a stranger looks about ready to collapse at my feet, I always feel as if the Gods are testing me."

Setmi touched the anthro's arm, fingers curling loosely around the furred limb, nodding his head towards the bench where Caly had previously been. "What say we at least go sit to have this oh so merry," At this he shot a sarcastic look towards Cody. "Conversation of ours."

[Fluffy]

Calyxte nodded his furred head to Cody and stood by the tree, lightly leaning against it, wondering what the other man's reaction wold be to his...lack of a specific answer. Then he watched Cody and Setmi exchange a few more words which Cal uninterestedly listened to. It amazed him how expressive the older male could be.

Setmi nodded toward the bench, his fingers loosely around his arm. "What say we at least go sit to have this oh so merry conversation of ours," Setmi had said, casting a glance at Cody toward the end. Calyxte smiled graciously at the jackal-scented man, "That'd be grand," he spoke, not hesitating to make his way back over to bench he'd once been placed at.

[Cody]

Cody growled softly, bristling as the other finally introduced himself. With a huff the boy crossed his arms and tipped up his chin. "I highly doubt that." The pup almost snarled, watching with narrowed eyes as the other moved towards Caly and grabbed his arm. With a slight snort at the merry conversation sentence the boy shrugged his shoulders and followed after the two as they moved towards the bench.

Standing by the edge of the wooden object the youngest man kept his arms crossed and stood closest the Caly, presuming that Setmi had sat on one of him rather then in the middle.

Looking around the slowly, the boy shivered and felt goosebumps rise up on his arms. This night was going to be very cold, he knew that and he wanted to get home soon. A warm shower and a bed sounded really nice right about now. Glancing over his shoulder he looked at the other two men.
