What kind of roleplay does this forum allow?
Anything and everything. You can be anything you want and do anything you want, provided you respect other member's wishes and what not. (I.E. Refer to godmoding and why NOT to do it.) You can be a snail for all we care as long as this snail isn't like ALMIGHTY and pwns everyone and everything around it.
As for ratings and stuff...violence is fine. When it comes to graphic sexual things, however, GET A ROOM PLEASE. Or, rather, take it into pms or onto the private boards. There are virgin eyes and minds roaming around. We'd like to keep them untainted as long as possible. (refer to "What is considered too mature?" for more stuff.)

Yes, you may rp fan characters and yes you can rp the original characters. However, you don't post the bios for the original characters because they aren't yours, and you can only rp them in the board for Fan rping. You also can't hold claim over an official character in a book, show, ect. There can be 50 Capitan Jacks running around, but only one can appear in an rp.

And example would be:
Post one: Barney ran around in circles, screaming wildly.
Post two: Fred moved towards Barney and attempted to hit him with a club.
Post three: The club met with Barney's head and crushed his skull.
Granted, you will be expected to write more than that. Fleshed-out, descriptive posts are appreciated. You can't give a roleplay dimension and meaning with a series of shallow, vapid one-liners.

Godmoding or "powerplaying" is when someone takes control of another person's character without permission, forcing them to do things that the creator might not have intended to happen. Power-playing is also when someone writes as if their character is invincible and indestructible. This is retarded. Don't do it. Otherwise disciplinary actions might have to be taken.
Someone is harassing me, what do I do?
Do not make a scene on the forum. Work it out through pms and if things do not get any better, pm a mod. We'll try to work things out. But don't go being a whiny cry-baby about everything. Not cool.
What is considered too mature for posting on the main boards?

The forum is set up into a few different categories, mostly time frames. Modern day, past, and future, along with some others. Just choose the one that suits best and go from there. If you have a suggestion for another board, feel free to put it out there.
I see there's a board for feral... why isn't there one for anthro?
Because anthro can be rped in the same location as everything else. Feral has it's own because we don't want people getting annoyed with wolf rp overtaking everything.
Does my character need to be checked before I can rp it?
Nah, if there's a problem, you'll be confronted. Just make sure you post the profile Here
Is there a max of how many characters I can have?
Nope. As many as you'd like, though it's preferred you actually rp them at some point.

The Free-For-All was originally created by Rip and Obelisk because we grew frustrated with rp forums allowing only one genre. If you wanted to rp a certain category, you needed to find a specific forum for it, and with your luck that forum probably had some weird plot you didn't care about or insane rules that restricted the amount of eyelashes your character could have.
The site is run by admins and mods. I'll list them here:

I made some sort of web page about my character. Could I post that instead of making a profile?
You still have to put your character in the library and post the based required information, but sure, you could add the link to your character's site.
Who the heck is Jack Almighty and WHY IS HE ATTACKING MY CHARACTER?!
Jack Almighty is our "bad character mascot"- he's a parody used to make fun of 'perfect' characters, powerplayers and godmoders. Instead of Mary Sue, we have Jack Almighty. If someone refers to your character as a Mary Sue or attacks him with Jack Almighty, it might mean that your character has no flaws.

It's like Barbie; Barbie is good at everything she does, is gorgeous, is rich, and is all round perfect. No character should ever be a Barbie. What should I do if I want to get ban hammered?
If you want to get banned then I suggest doing the following:
1. Run around harassing people. Make sure to use REALLY offensive terms.
2. Fight bait staff (serious, gtfo of here with that crap)
3. Powerplay/Godmode extensively, AFTER you've been warned by staff.
4. Posting graphic and overly-mature material. This includes in someone else's rp, especially if they don't want it there.
5. Break our rules again and again.
6. Piss us off.
7. Steal art/writing
8. Try to claim unclimbable traits (OMG YOUR WOLF-DEMON HAS BLACK FUR JUST LIKE MY WOLF-DEMON!!!)

Can I use a picture from an anime/movie/whatever for my character's appearance?
No. Unless that picture was drawn JUST for you or you have direct permission from it's creator, you can't use it for your character. This includes copyrighted photographs (we don't need artists coming here to whine or any legal trouble). If you want to use a photograph, try a stock photo site like www.gettyimages.com. These websites are free use and the pictures are for everyone.
How do I become a mod?
Sorry, only the first 5 people to join are allowed to be mods. You fail. Go home.
